Search “Metropolis MET City” and you’ll get a premium sub-brand pitched as the top tier of Reliance MET City’s residential offering — “fast appreciation zone,” “premium plots, limited units left.” Some of that is verifiable. Some of it is sales language layered on top of a project whose own sector location isn’t consistently described across sources. This guide separates the two.
Metropolis is a residential sub-brand within Reliance MET City, the 8,250-acre industrial-residential-commercial township in Jhajjar developed by Model Economic Township Limited (METL), a wholly owned Reliance Industries subsidiary. On METL’s own site (metcity.in), “Metropolis by Met City” is listed under both the Industrial and Residential project categories, with no further detail on that homepage — an ambiguity our main MET City guide also flags for the township generally, and one worth clarifying directly with a channel partner before you commit to what you think you’re buying.
Metropolis also has its own dedicated site, metropolisbymet.com, which appears linked to the developer (its social handles match MET City’s official LinkedIn, Instagram and Facebook accounts). That site places the project “Near Dhansa Border, Dariyapur, Jhajjar, Haryana,” with “0 km from Delhi” positioning, and references an embedded RERA registration certificate — though we could not extract a legible registration number from it during this research, so we’re not quoting one. Ask your channel partner for that number directly and verify it on the Haryana RERA portal before paying anything.
This is where sources disagree, and it’s worth flagging plainly rather than picking one and moving on.
Our main MET City guide, sourced from METL’s own Haryana RERA disclosure page, lists the township’s licensed sectors as 1, 2 and 3 under one industrial colony licence, and 4, 5, 7A, 7B, 8 and 10 under a second. A broker listing site, 100acress.com, places Metropolis in “Sector 23, Jhajjar, Gurugram” — a sector number that doesn’t appear anywhere in METL’s own disclosed licence list we reviewed. It’s possible “Sector 23” refers to an internal broker numbering convention rather than METL’s official DTCP-approved sector plan, but we can’t confirm that from public sources.
What this means for you: before booking a Metropolis plot, ask for the specific DTCP-approved sector number and layout plan reference, and cross-check it against the HRERA registration tied to that exact plot — not a generic “MET City” or “Metropolis” reference. A mismatch between what a brochure calls the sector and what the RERA certificate says is a documented risk pattern across plotted townships generally, not just here.
Neither metcity.in nor metropolisbymet.com discloses pricing — consistent with what our Reliance MET City plot price guide found for the township generally: METL does not publish a public rate card. Every figure below is broker- or channel-partner-sourced.
| Source | Plot Size | Price | Dated |
|---|---|---|---|
| relianceplots.com (channel partner) | 112–179 sq. yd | ₹99,000–₹1,10,000 per sq. yd | Apr 2026, checked Sep 2026 |
| 100acress.com (listing portal) | 112–179 sq. yd (112, 130, 150, 179 sq. yd options) | ₹1.12 Cr–₹1.77 Cr total (works out to roughly ₹1,00,000–₹1,10,000/sq. yd) | No date shown; checked Sep 2026 |
The two sources are reasonably consistent once converted to a common per-sq-yard basis — that’s a mild positive signal, but two broker sources agreeing with each other is not the same as an official price. Metropolis prices sit above general MET City residential plots, which the same relianceplots listing puts at ₹85,000–₹90,000 per sq. yard — roughly a 15–25% premium for the Metropolis brand, though as our price guide notes, it isn’t fully clear whether that premium reflects a genuinely distinct product or the same residential land marketed under a second name.
100acress additionally states the project spans 20 acres with 260 units and an expected delivery of February 2027. We could not verify this delivery date against a developer or RERA source, and a broker-listed possession date should be treated as indicative, not contractual, until you’ve seen it stated on the project’s actual RERA registration.
Reasonably well-supported:
Not independently verified — treat with caution:
Metropolis is a premium-tier bet within an already long-horizon township. It’s worth considering if you fall into one of these categories:
It’s a weaker fit for buyers who want confirmed possession timelines, an established resale market, or pricing backed by a public developer rate card — none of which currently exist for Metropolis based on our research.
What is Metropolis by MET City?
Metropolis is a premium residential sub-brand within Reliance MET City, the Jhajjar township developed by Model Economic Township Limited, a Reliance Industries subsidiary. It is listed on the developer’s own site under both industrial and residential categories.
Where exactly is Metropolis located within MET City?
Its dedicated site places it near Dhansa Border, Dariyapur, Jhajjar. A broker listing site names “Sector 23,” which does not match the sector numbers on METL’s own Haryana RERA disclosure — buyers should verify the exact DTCP sector and layout reference before booking.
What is the price of a plot in Metropolis by MET City?
Two independent broker sources, checked September 2026, put Metropolis plots (112–179 sq. yd) at roughly ₹99,000–₹1,10,000 per sq. yard. METL does not publish an official price list, so treat this as a market range to verify.
Is Metropolis different from regular MET City residential plots?
It commands a roughly 15–25% premium over general MET City residential pricing (₹85,000–₹90,000/sq. yd) in the listings reviewed, though whether this reflects a genuinely distinct product or the same land under different branding isn’t fully clear from public sources.
Is Metropolis by MET City RERA registered?
Its own site references an embedded RERA certificate, but a specific registration number wasn’t extractable from public sources for this guide. Ask your channel partner for the exact number tied to your plot’s sector and verify it on the Haryana RERA portal directly.
Is Metropolis a good investment?
It suits long-horizon buyers who’ve already decided MET City fits their strategy and who will personally verify sector and RERA details, given the sector-numbering discrepancy documented in this guide. It’s a weaker fit for anyone wanting confirmed timelines or near-term resale liquidity.

Gurgaon Floors can help you request a written cost sheet and cross-check the sector and RERA details for a specific Metropolis plot. Talk to a MET City property advisor.
Prices, sector references and availability for Metropolis change over time and come primarily from broker and channel-partner sources rather than a published developer rate card. Verify directly with Model Economic Township Limited or an authorised channel partner, and independently confirm HRERA registration, before transacting. This is not investment advice.
